@sgriffin, @thomas, so sorry you couldn’t make it today, but presenter slide decks are here for you to peruse at your leisure. Any questions you wish you could have asked?

@German can you post the links to the school accountability rubric that Carrie mentioned was hidden on the state website?

(Mariel Matze, Schoolzilla) #4

As promised, here are the links Carrie mentioned last week (thanks @German!). She writes:

1. The proposed cut scores for state indicators are available in this memo on the State Board of Education website: memo-dsib-amard-aug16item02rev.doc (1.2 MB)
2. The state’s proposed framework for providing assistance and intervention to LEAs is in this memo on the SBE website: memo-sbe-aug16item02.doc (107 KB)
3. WestEd is helping the California Department of Education design the accountability rurbric. Some of their initial design ideas, which they shared with working groups for input, can be found here.

In general, the SBE website is full of technical detail on the accountability system. Most of the details are captured in an informational memorandum posted here. The meeting agendas also contain helpful attachments and slides.

(@david_roth, making sure you see this  )

Has anyone else found other helpful resources about the SBE’s new system that they’d be willing to share here?
