These are great questions! Here’s how Schoolzilla organizes collections by default:
Schoolzilla sets up default collection links per metric in order to make it easier for users to click from a tile (e.g., Chronic Absence) into a collection, rather than landing on all reports at once. You can read more about the default collections <a href='https://community.schoolzilla.com/t/deep-dive-collection-links-from-a-mosaic-tile/2274">here.
The collections that these links point to can also be changed, if you decide a different name is more meaningful or the granularity should be different (e.g, a Chronic Absence collection vs an Average Daily Attendance collection). You can always submit a ticket to change the link names.
In addition, deep dive reports are only accessible to specific roles depending on the project that they are stored in on Tableau server. For example, a report called Chronic Absence - Student Contacts - District and School Leaders may only be viewed by admins and school leaders. Whereas, the Teacher version of this report is only visible to teachers in a Collection. This article has more information about access.
We have also heard requests for having users land on Featured reports, rather than All Reports if they go directly to Data Wall or from the Deep Dive icon at the top of Mosaic’s navigation bar. We’ll post an update to the Release Notes once this feature is available!
Please let us know if you have different ideas or learn strategies from others that may help us to continue to make reports easier to find!
